In Term 4, we start by looking at some famous explorers and the journeys that they undertook. We then really delve into maps and map work. 

We explore Ordnance Survey Maps, six-figure grid references, and the six compass points. We have to use these, create our own maps, and take part in orienteering.

With our focus on maps, we also explore the local area and look into the Cutteslowe Wall, as part of a local history study.
