Hello, we are the Values Council!

Values Council meet during assembly on a Friday in 3HJ/DD classroom. Every class from Year 1 to Year 6 is represented by one child. 

In meetings we discuss the Value of the Month and how this value might be displayed by children in the school. 

The council members are ‘Values Detectives’ and have the responsibility of watching in class for pupils who are demonstrating the current value of the month. 

In the meetings we share what we have witnessed and who we have chosen from each class that week for a Values Award which we then hand out at the end of the Friday assembly. 

We also make posters and share information about the Value of the Month on a display board in the school.
