Value for October – Generosity 23 October 2026
Dear Parents / Carers,
It has been a very wet end to a long half term! We tried to keep going with Friday DJ but the weather made things really challenging and everyone was soaked!
I hope that your children have settled in well to their new classes, getting out and about there is a real buzz around the school as everyone is more familiar with routines and topics. Lots of parents attended parents' evenings where I hope that you found out more not only about what your child has been doing, but also what they need to be working on next.
Thank you to everyone who has been supportive of myself and the staff team this half term, it has been really hard work but the encouragement and support offered does go a long way.
Could I remind everyone that Monday 2nd November is an INSET day so school will not be open for children on that day.
Have a good half term,
Mr Howe

School Council Appeal
Hello! We are the School Council, and we need your help with an exciting project.
We are working with Mrs Russell to make playtimes even more fun by introducing lots of different toys and activities for everyone to enjoy. To help us do this, we are asking for donations of good quality
second-hand toys and games.
We would be very grateful for any of the following:
Skipping ropes
Toy cars
Board games
Card games
Barbie dolls
Action figures
Old guttering or wooden planks
Loom bands
Colouring pencils or pens
Colouring books
Toy dinosaurs
Small toy animals
Small toy trains
After half term, there will be large donation boxes in the middle playground (near the hall) where you can leave any items you would like to donate.
Thank you for helping us make our playtimes even better!
From, The School Council 😊
Christmas/Holiday online shop closing next Friday!
https://shop.classfundraising.co.uk/
The online shop for Christmas/holiday items featuring your child's artwork closes at MIDDAY (12pm) on Friday 30 October (during the half-term holiday).
If you didn't receive or have lost your child's unique design code, please email us as soon as possible with their full name and class (Oriana: ori7b@hotmail.com and/or Cailah: cailahjackson@gmail.com). Please do not wait until the last minute to contact us, as we may not be able to respond at short notice (especially as the shop closes during the half-term holiday). Thank you!
