Key concepts: Sustainability and Creation

In term 1, our challenge is to design our own version of the Eden Project for Oxfordshire, that we can send to the Oxford Tourist Board to convince them that this is exactly what Oxfordshire needs! Children will be exploring ifferent biomes linked to our key concepts of sustainability and creation. They will revise and develop mapping skills and knowledge of the world. Building on previous learning, children will also revise what a biome is and focus on areas of the world that are considered extreme.  

In term 2,we will look at Medicine and Disease – a chronological study. We will revisit different time periods, and delve into what they believe was the cause of disease and how they went about treating it.
