It is the final term of the year, and we will be looking at Castles and Conquests. We will discover the history of castles and what they were used for as well as the location of them in the United Kingdom. We will look at the roll of the people in castles also. We look into the question of 'who should have the power?'

This topic takes us on a trip to a castle to explore also. We will use our knowledge to become factual writers again!

As we transition to year 2 we will explore ourselves in PSHE and everything we have learnt in year 1 and how we have grown!
